BIRTHDAY PAPER DRIVE |

Grace delivering the paper
Grace Haug is an avid reader of the Lighthouse Shelter newsletter. So when it came time for her 9th birthday party she decided to take the opportunity to make a difference. After looking over the Shelter Needs list she decided to have a “paper drive” for the shelter. Instead of gifts, she asked all her friends to bring a paper item for the Lighthouse Shelter. Grace, with the help of her mom Sarah Haug, delivered copy paper, envelopes, paper towels, facial tissue, note books and so much more to the Lighthouse Shelter office. Grace we can’t thank you enough! Your donation really helped cut a big expense for us. Your commitment to helping others in your community is greatly appreciated! |

Thank you to all who helped to make our Frightful Family Feast and Silent Auction a success. Chris Brown did a terrific job “clowning around” and entertaining the children with balloons. Fabulous Flowers and gifts did a wonderful job on the backdrop of our photo area, making the pictures very charming. Those who donated items for the auction were so generous, and while several contributors asked to remain anonymous, we do wish to acknowledge the following:
Adventure Quest Kids Arrow Rock Tavern Candles at the Corner Celebration Station Cott Firearms Girl Scout Troup 369 Country Floral and Keepsakes Debbie Allison and Sheila Beck Jan’s Beauty Unlimited Judy’s Arts and Crafts LaCrosse Lumber Kleinschmidt’s Western Wear Lighthouse Thrift Store Marshall Floral Marshall Homestore Queen Bee Cakes & Cookies Rosemary Chapel & Faith Manley Slater City Pharmacy Slater General Store Square Corner Stage 3 Friends
Sincere thanks go out to all who donated so generously to meet our needs and those of our clients.
