SHELTER NEEDS

PARENTING CLASSES START AGAIN NOVEMBER 5

 

By popular request the Lighthouse Children’s Center is once again offering Parenting Classes. The classes are offered in 1 hour sessions over 5 weeks.  Both day and evening sessions are available. A few of the topics covered include communication, building self image, discipline, and protecting your children from abuse.  If you are interested in signing up or you have more questions please contact the Lighthouse Children’s Center at 660-831-0670 or the shelter at 660-831-0988 for more information.

                            HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

The Lighthouse Children’s Center will be closed on the following dates during the holiday season.  If you are in need of services during this time, please remember you can always contact the shelter at 660-831-0988 or 888-831-0988.

                                                    

                                                          NOVEMBER

             Wednesday, November 21st through Sunday, November 25th.

             There will be no Children’s Group on Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd.

                                                  DECEMBER/JANUARY

             Friday, December 21st through Thursday, January 3, 2008.
             Children’s Group will be held on Thursday, December 27th and January 3rd.

We would like to thank the generous donors that help us meet our needs throughout the year.  If you would like to make a donation but can’t make it by our office, just call and we will come pick it up!
