COMMITTED TO IMPROVING LIVES
Tammy Anderson is a long time volunteer who has been with the Lighthouse Shelter since August 2002. Tammy comes to us from Concordia where she lives with her husband Ronnie, and raises mules on their farm.
Tammy helps with many shelter projects as well as working in the kitchen teaching and learning new recipes with the residents. Tammy said “I have discovered my inner self by spending time with the residents here. I credit the success of the residents to the commitment of the staff. I have a great respect for the staff, residents, and case manager. I enjoy the positive attitude here and delight in the success of the residents.” Advocate and volunteer coordinator Debbie Allison says, “Tammy is a one of a kind person and has a good ear for listening. She is a person we can depend on.”
We thank you Tammy, you are a real team player, we are lucky to have you!
